Stephanie Taylor, MD

Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I have always had a passion for medicine, first being a Registered Nurse for nine years and now continuing my education and becoming a pediatrician. I chose family medicine because I like to be able to form relationships with my patients and watch these relationships evolve over time.

I am excited to be a part of the team! I truly believe in living healthy lifestyles and I want my patients to feel comfortable and confident speaking to me about their medical concerns. Everyone deserves to be treated equally and with respect!

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I am out of the office you can find me with my husband and our two sons, and a cat named Oxytocin! We love to travel, play outside, and stay active. In my quiet time I enjoy reading!

Why I chose a career in healthcare:

From a fairly early age, I felt a calling to combine my science skills with a desire to help others. Growing up, I had a strong role model in my own family doctor. I wanted to be like him--hard working, building trusting relationships with my patients--so I could make a positive difference in their lives.

Many things we do to get or stay healthy involve change, and change is hard. My patients can be assured I will be their partner in helping them make the changes they want. I never give up on my patients, and I try to be a good listener.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I work a lot and have many leadership responsibilities at our clinic that takes a lot of my time when I am not seeing patients. When I do get a chance to get away from work, I enjoy biking, hiking and spending time with my family.
